Imam jedan problem, Jetta 1.9 TDI 105 Ks, 2008., godina. Prošli tjedan se upalila lampica koja signalizira probleme sa ispušnim sustavom. Bilo je popucalo gumeno crijevo koje ide na EGR ventil, ja sam ga malo skratio i opet nataknuo na EGR. Lampica se za par dana ugasila i sve je bilo OK do danas kad se opet upalila. Opet je bilo popucalo gumeno crijevo koje ide na EGR ali me iznenadilo da je bila potrgana električna instalacija koja ide sa MAF senzora.(ko da ju je neko presjekao). Nemogu skužiti zašto je ta instalacija presječena? Auto inače ide jako dobro iako je maF senzor odsječan, normalno vuče i da ne svjetli lampica uopće ne bi primjetio da nešto nije u redu. Jel imao neko slično iskustvo?

Stavio sam novo crijevo (armirano sa zaštitom) i pokrpo kabel od MAF senzora i sad je sve OK, lampica se ugasila.
Valjda je problem rješen...

Problem se opet pojavio, upalila se lampica, dignem haubu i vidim da su žice od Maf senzora strgane. Ko da su sa klještima presječene. Nemrem skužit kako i zašto se to dogodilo....

"Bosch uses a hot-wire MAF sensor which is a platinum wire heated to 212F ( some say 180F ) above ambient temperature. As air is sucked into the engine past the wire, it has a cooling effect that's offset by an increase in voltage to the sensor to maintain the 212F. Upon shutdown, Bosch MAF sensors briefly heat the wire to 1000C to burn off any contaminants."
Perhaps a greater air flow would equate to a more sustained voltage, maybe higher than normal, to maintain the 212F temperature. With cooler intake temperature and increased air flow, the voltage to the MAF must be at a higher level to maintain the 212F.
Bosch says--
An electrically heated sensor element protrudes into the air flow. The sensor element's temperature is continually held at a constant level. The flow of air removes heat from the sensor element and the higher the air mass, the more energy must be applied to keep the sensor-element temperature at a constant level, i.e. more airflow = more current draw.
Some MAF failures appear to be due to faulty contacts. VW has had some dealers replace the contacts in the MAF connector, presumably to reduce voltage drop and increase reliability. Connector housing 1J0 973 775 A, along with 3 of p/n 000-979-133-A are what's needed, if you want to try this change. The first part is the connector housing, the second gets you the appropriate gold plated, high force, contacts pre-crimped onto wires (1 part is 2 contacts on a wire, 4 or 5 contacts needed depending upon application).
